YamOGA Singing Bowl Training | Introduction and Levels 1–3

Learn to play with presence, listen attentively and build confident, responsible sound practices with Yama Lam. Maximum six students per class. Choose your preferred course date and level above.

The Art of One Bowl: Singing Bowl Introduction | 4 Hours | $199

A welcoming start for beginners, using one singing bowl. Learn instrument care, striking and rim-playing technique, resonance, mindful breathing and a simple personal relaxation sequence. Explore gentle listening with willing family members, and appropriate sound awareness around pets: keep sounds soft, allow animals to leave freely, and never place a bowl on an animal.

Level 1: Singing Bowl Sound Therapist | 16 Hours | $799

Develop practical skills in sound-based wellness facilitation through structured, guided practice. Topics include the history and acoustic properties of bowls, resonance, bowl types and selection, mindful practice and preparation, communication and informed consent, session setup, safe use and client comfort, applied techniques, sound sequences and creating a thoughtful one-to-one session. Hands-on exercises include mindful listening, upper- and lower-body sequences, chakra-inspired rhythms, triangle playing and a guided practice session.

Special tuition for returning students: $599. Students who previously completed YamOGA's 4-hour Introduction are eligible for a $200 tuition credit toward Level 1. Please contact YamOGA to verify prior attendance and receive an individual alumni checkout discount; do not select a different course option to claim the credit.

December 19 scheduling: 4-hour Introduction students attend 9 AM–1 PM. Level 1 students share that morning introduction and continue with their extended course afterward and on Sunday, December 20. This overlap is intentional.

Level 2: Advanced Singing Bowl Sound Therapist | 16 Hours

Build on Level 1 with a more advanced understanding of multi-bowl sound arrangements, session design, hands-on facilitation, client communication and respectful professional practice. Course dates and tuition will be announced before enrollment opens.

Level 3: Singing Bowl Sound Master | 16 Hours

Advanced studies in designing and facilitating complete sound experiences, integrating multiple instruments and refining the skills needed to guide others responsibly. Course dates and tuition are to be announced; enrollment is not currently open.

Questions before paying?

Contact YamOGA about levels, prerequisites, dates and course policies.
