Traditional Usui Reiki Training | Small-Group Learning
Study the Usui Reiki tradition with Yama Lam in a welcoming, practice-based small group of no more than six students. Select your preferred course and date above. Each currently scheduled level is a four-hour class priced at $199.
Reiki I | Shoden | 4 Hours
Learn the origins and principles of the Usui tradition, mindful self-practice, traditional hand positions, respectful touch and consent, basic session preparation and supervised introductory practice. This is an entry point for personal study and those interested in developing their understanding of Reiki.
Reiki II | Okuden | 4 Hours
Develop your existing practice through intermediate Reiki teachings, traditional symbols and their use within the lineage, practitioner boundaries, distance-practice concepts and thoughtful session structure. Reiki I completion or equivalent foundation is expected; please confirm eligibility before enrolling.
Meet the Teacher
Yama Lam is a trained Usui Reiki Master, E-RYT 200 yoga teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. Her background also includes advanced Tibetan singing bowl therapy, tuning fork training and Buddhist meditation study, with years of experience facilitating yoga and complementary wellness sessions.
Certificate and Yoga Alliance Questions
YamOGA can issue its course completion certificate when applicable requirements are met. YACEP is a provider designation; not all Reiki instruction automatically counts toward Yoga Alliance continuing education, and eligibility must be checked against Yoga Alliance's current rules and educational categories. The email used for purchase can help identify the student record but does not automatically update an external Yoga Alliance profile.
FAQs
Do I need experience? Reiki I is introductory. Reiki II assumes prior Reiki I study.
Will I practice during class? Yes, the training includes guided exercises appropriate to the level.
Is Reiki a medical treatment? No. This training does not provide medical qualifications or replace healthcare.
Class size and location? Small groups of up to six students, in Thousand Oaks, California. Location details follow registration.
How do I choose a date? Select a level and scheduled date from the product options above and proceed to checkout.
